With work underway on hundreds of YSI projects around the country, an exciting calendar of events is being organised for programme participants. March will see 13 Speak Out Fora take place across six locations. Please confirm your attendance as soon as possible to guarantee a place in your preferred location..
Speak Outs are the ideal opportunity to demonstrate all the hard work your team has been putting into your social innovation project. It also allows you to see what other teams have been working on and to meet hundreds of young social innovators from your region.
Students from St. Brendan's, Killarney, Co. Kerry, presenting their project 'Turn On the Lights, I Can't Hear You, at the Munster Region Speak Out 2012. Their project aimed to create awareness among teenagers on difficulties faced by deaf peers in school and social settings.
All teams will have two minutes to present on their project. Please note that if you exceed this time limit you will be stopped so be sure to time your presentation in advance. We also ask that all teams show respect for the other participants by remaining until the last presentation has finished. If you are unable to do this, please contact us before attending a Speak Out event.
